The Opportunity

We are opening a new showroom near Falmouth and are looking for additional full-time Designer to lead client projects from Initial consultation to final Handover. This is a hands-on role requiring a confident mix of design, sales, exceptional communication skills and project management.

Unlike standard retail roles, this position is ideal for someone who thrives in a consultative, high-end design environment -- confident with CAD, proactive in building relationships, and inspired by helping clients create one-of-a-kind spaces.

Key Responsibilities+Skills

- Welcome clients into the showroom and through consultation understand their needs, lifestyle, and design aspirations
- Undertake site surveys and interpret briefs into fully bespoke kitchen layouts
- Create compelling presentations using CAD based software (ideally Articad), moodboards, and visuals
- Prepare accurate specifications and quotations for client approval
- Liaise closely with our in-house workshop team to ensure designs are practical, beautiful, and buildable
- Manage the client journey with professionalism and clarity
- Generate your own leads by building relationships with architects, interior designers, and builders in the local area
- Maintain strong awareness of design trends, appliances, finishes, and materials

What We're Looking For

- Several years' experience in kitchen or interior design, ideally in the bespoke or premium market
- Strong working knowledge of CAD design tools (Articad or Auto Kitchen preferred)
- Honest and open Sales-focused mindset with a creative and consultative approach
- Excellent interpersonal skills and personal presentation
- A proactive, self-driven attitude to lead generation and networking
- High attention to detail and a commitment to outstanding customer experience
- Full UK driving licence

Pay: 30,000.00-40,000.00 per year
