We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fitter to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

Interpret and work from technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to assemble components accurately. Perform roofing, plumbing, welding, and electrical tasks as required by specific projects. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out construction tasks including carpentry, plastering, masonry, and fabrication. Conduct routine maintenance checks on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards. Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations. Assist in the training of junior staff as necessary, sharing expertise in various fitting techniques.

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role within the construction or manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical systems, carpentry, plastering, masonry, and fabrication techniques. Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in construction settings. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and clients alike.
