Duties
Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene practices.
Participate in the catering of events, providing high-quality food service to guests.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Support meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients as needed.
Serve food to customers when required, ensuring an exceptional dining experience.
Requirements
Previous experience in a kitchen environment or restaurant setting is preferred.
Strong culinary skills with an understanding of cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
Experience in catering is advantageous but not mandatory.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when required.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal presentation.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within the culinary field.
