Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager/Head Chef to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and good organisational skills for food preparation and production. This role is crucial in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly, maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene while fostering a positive working environment for the team.

Duties



Supervise and manage kitchen staff, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.

Oversee food preparation and production processes to maintain quality and consistency.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food hygiene standards.

Train new staff in cooking techniques, kitchen procedures, and safety protocols.

Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure efficient operation.

Collaborate with front of house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.

Address any issues that arise in the kitchen promptly and effectively.

Experience



Proven experience in a kitchen management/chef role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is essential.

Strong background in food preparation and production techniques.

Experience in supervising and training kitchen staff is highly desirable.

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Experience in pizza is preferred but not a neccisity
