We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. Duties

Supervise and manage the kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow. Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain high culinary standards. Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment. Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety practices, and service excellence. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage food costs effectively. Maintain a positive work atmosphere that encourages teamwork and collaboration.

Skills

Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Strong background in food production with a focus on quality and presentation. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team. Proficient in food preparation techniques and cooking methods across various cuisines. Extensive kitchen experience with a solid understanding of culinary principles. Previous culinary experience in a restaurant setting is highly desirable. Knowledge of hospitality best practices to enhance guest satisfaction. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to make decisions under pressure. Familiarity with food safety regulations to ensure compliance at all times.
