We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sous Chef to join our professional culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive kitchen experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional food quality. As a key member of our kitchen management, you will oversee daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure that all food safety standards are maintained. Responsibilities



Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations and ensuring smooth workflow Supervise and motivate kitchen staff, including chefs and kitchen assistants, fostering a collaborative team environment Oversee food production, ensuring dishes meet quality standards and presentation expectations Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, maintaining consistency and excellence in food preparation Implement and uphold food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with regulations Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and minimise waste to optimise operational efficiency Support staff training programmes to develop culinary skills and uphold service standards Assist in menu planning, development, and innovation to enhance customer satisfaction Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained properly and report any issues promptly

Qualifications



Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food preparation and cooking techniques Demonstrable team management abilities with leadership qualities that inspire confidence and teamwork Solid understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management Experience in food production across various cuisines is desirable Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving procedures, and customer service standards is advantageous A recognised culinary qualification or relevant hospitality certification is preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 14.21-16.75 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
