We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Manager to oversee our culinary operations and ensure the smooth running of our kitchen supporting our Kitchen Manager on-site. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and excellent leadership abilities.
Duties
- Supervise kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory and ordering supplies
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Develop and update menus in collaboration with the culinary team
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on culinary techniques
- Oversee food production to maintain quality standards
- Coordinate with bartending staff for efficient service delivery
Skills
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or culinary environment
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food production processes
- Understanding of food safety practices and regulations
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
