Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our team. The Kitchen Porter will assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, supporting the kitchen staff in food preparation, and ensuring a smooth workflow.
Duties:
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Assist in basic food preparation tasks under the guidance of kitchen staff
- Dispose of waste following proper procedures
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify when replenishment is needed
- Support kitchen staff in various tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques is a plus
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Team player with good communication skills
This Is just for the xmas period but could lead to longer for the right applicant.
