Duties

Assist with food preparation as directed by the kitchen team Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and utensils Support chefs during service by ensuring all necessary ingredients and equipment are readily available Help with the storage of food items, ensuring proper labelling and rotation Adhere to health and safety regulations, including food hygiene standards Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations Assist in other areas of the restaurant as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, but not essential Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques Experience in restaurants, hotels, or other hospitality settings is advantageous Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team Excellent communication skills
