Job Description
We are looking for a Part Time employmenttype Kitchen Porter to join the team in our Restaurant in Astbury Meadow Garden Centre.
Our competitive rates of pay range from 10 to 12.25 per hour dependent on age.
The hours for this role are 7 hours per week on a Sunday.
This is a temporary role only until the end of December 2025.
The Role
As a Kitchen Porter, you will provide a critical service to both our front and back of house operation ensuring a constant supply of clean crockery, cutlery and equipment. You will be trained in the safe operation of the pot wash equipment and take responsibility for a productive and clean work area.
What you will be doing as a
Kitchen Porter
?
Using equipment, process all cutlery and crockery through the dishwasher. Make sure waste is disposed of using appropriate recycling bins Take care to avoid breakages Ensure all crockery and dishes are cleaned properly before being used Carry out cleaning of equipment and working areas to the highest food hygiene standards Close down kitchen each day including preparation for the following day.
