Duties

Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, chopping, and portioning ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Support chefs during service by preparing ingredients and assisting with cooking as needed. Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as necessary. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential. Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques is advantageous. A strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills in a culinary environment. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional service. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
