Summary

We are seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our team at The Nut Tree. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen and Back of House operations, contributing to the overall experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation and ensure all kitchen areas are clean and organised Ensure Back of House areas (cellars and back courtyards) are clean and tidy Check in and put away deliveries Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently Support chefs with basic cooking tasks as needed Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, surfaces, and equipment Help with stock rotation and storage of food items Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn Ability to work effectively as part of a team Good communication skills to interact with kitchen staff Basic understanding of food hygiene practices
