Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our team on a part-time basis.

As a Kitchen Porter, you will support kitchen operations by ensuring cleanliness and organization, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining equipment.

Training will be provided, so a strong work ethic and commitment to a clean kitchen are essential.

Duties:

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment

- Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation tasks as needed

- Ensure all kitchen areas adhere to food safety standards

- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when reordering is needed

- Help with receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper storage of food items

- Support kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or in a similar role is preferred but not required- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
