Duties

Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs and kitchen staff. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Help with the delivery and storage of food supplies and ingredients. Support chefs during peak service times by providing additional assistance as required. Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm for food preparation is key. A strong work ethic with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. A keen interest in culinary arts and hospitality is advantageous. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. A positive attitude towards helping others and contributing to the overall success of the kitchen team.
