We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic kitchen team. Duties

Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables as required. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Support chefs during service by ensuring that all necessary equipment and ingredients are readily available. Help with the storage of food items, ensuring proper rotation and adherence to health and safety standards. Participate in maintaining hygiene standards in accordance with food safety regulations. Assist in receiving deliveries and storing supplies appropriately. Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive working environment and efficient service.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is advantageous but not essential. Familiarity with food preparation techniques is beneficial. Experience in hospitality or culinary roles will be considered an asset. A willingness to learn and develop skills in cooking and serving within a fast-paced environment.
