Part-Time Kitchen Porter

to join our kitchen team. You will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment to support the chefs and ensure smooth kitchen operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in their work.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure all kitchen and food preparation areas are clean and hygienic at all times Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly Support the chefs with basic food prep as required (e.g., peeling, portioning) Maintain cleanliness of floors, surfaces, and bins in the kitchen area Dispose of rubbish in a safe and hygienic manner Ensure all cleaning equipment is used and stored safely and correctly Follow health & safety and food hygiene procedures at all times Assist with deliveries and stock rotation when necessary

Skills & Experience:

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail Physically fit and able to be on your feet for extended periods Willingness to learn and take direction Flexibility with working hours including weekends and evenings
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
