Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation tasks, ensuring ingredients are ready for cooking Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans Support chefs during service by preparing garnishes and assisting with plating dishes Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment at all times Assist with waste management and recycling efforts within the kitchen

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not essential Basic cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques Familiarity with culinary terminology and practices Strong organisational skills with an ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment Excellent communication skills, contributing positively to team dynamics A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional service to guests
