Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients as directed by chefs. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Support banquet and catering events by setting up and breaking down food stations. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and sanitized after use. Help with the storage of food items, ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Follow all health and safety regulations while working in the kitchen environment.

Skills

Experience in bussing and cleaning within a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary practices. Previous banquet or catering experience is a plus. Strong understanding of food handling procedures to maintain safety standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration. Previous experience in hospitality or culinary roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
