Kitchen Porter
Job Description
Duffryn FFrwd Manor Nursing & Residential Care Home have been trading for over 25 years. We are looking to appoint a bank kitchen porter (with a view to becoming permanent) in a busy kitchen. This job includes weekend work (on a rota basis).
We are looking for someone who can work as a team with a "hands on approach" .
Brief duties are as follows:
Helping with breakfast, cooking eggs and making toast etc.
Helping out with the morning and afternoon tea trolley.
Making snacks and sandwiches.
Washing and peeling vegetables.
Washing pots and pans
Loading the dishwasher
Making sure the fridges and other machines are clean and making sure the kitchen is clean and tidy
Unloading deliveries and helping to put away stock
Providing support to the Chefs.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: 12.28-12.30 per hour
