Kitchen Porter
Job Description
Old Post House is looking for a hardworking and reliable kitchen porter to join our friendly kitchen team.
Key responsibilities -
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and back of house areas.
Operate dishwashers and ensure crockery, cutlery, pots and pans are cleaned efficiently.
Support chefs with basic food preparation (peeling, chopping, portioning) when required.
Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health & safety at all times.
Receive, check and store deliveries correctly.
Assist with deep cleaning tasks as part of daily routine
A positive 'can do' attitude and willingness to learn.
Food hygiene certificate is preferred however full training will be given.
Previous KP/kitchen work preferred but again full training can be given.
Shifts are throughout the week, evenings & weekends.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 24 - 30 per week
