Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas.
Assist chefs with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients.
Ensure all kitchen equipment and utensils are cleaned and stored properly after use.
Support the cooking team during busy service periods by preparing ingredients and assisting with plating.
Help manage waste disposal and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service times.
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is advantageous.
Experience in hospitality or culinary environments will be considered a plus.
