Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment promptly. Ensure all work surfaces are kept clean and tidy throughout service periods. Support the chefs during busy service times by providing assistance as needed. Help with the organisation of food storage areas, ensuring that all items are stored correctly and labelled. Dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations. Assist in receiving deliveries and storing supplies appropriately.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is advantageous but not essential. Basic food preparation skills and an understanding of cooking techniques are beneficial. Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. A keen interest in culinary arts and hospitality is desirable. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards learning from others. Ability to follow instructions accurately while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
