We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our team at The Duke in the heart of the hospitality sector. This role is essential for maintaining cleanliness and organization in our kitchen, contributing significantly to our mission of providing top-notch service and culinary excellence.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas Assist with food preparation as directed by chefs Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently Support kitchen staff with various tasks as needed Ensure proper storage of food items Help maintain inventory levels of kitchen supplies Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times Contribute positively to team dynamics and communication

Qualifications

Previous kitchen or restaurant experience preferred Strong understanding of food safety practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Good communication skills and teamwork mentality Willingness to learn and take direction from senior staff Flexibility to assist with various tasks as needed Passion for the hospitality industry is a plus
