Duties

Assist with food preparation tasks, ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooking. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils promptly. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored correctly after use. Support chefs during busy service periods by helping with basic cooking tasks as required. Keep the kitchen area tidy and organised, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist in receiving and storing deliveries of food supplies. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. A background in hospitality or restaurant settings will be advantageous. Basic culinary skills or knowledge of food preparation techniques are desirable. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards learning and development. Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the business needs.
