Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting ingredients as directed by chefs. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas by regularly cleaning surfaces, equipment, and utensils. Bus tables and assist with serving food during busy periods or special events. Support banquet operations by setting up and breaking down dining areas as needed. Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed to maintain food safety standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service times. Help with catering events by preparing food items and assisting with service logistics.

Skills

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred; culinary experience is a plus. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations. Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail to maintain high hygiene standards. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere while also being self-motivated. Experience in bussing, serving, or banquet settings is advantageous. Excellent communication skills to interact with kitchen staff and management effectively. A passion for hospitality and providing excellent customer service in all interactions.
