Duties

Assist with food preparation tasks, ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooking. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Support chefs during service by preparing garnishes and assisting with plating. Help with stock rotation and organisation of food supplies in storage areas. Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential. Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively. A passion for hospitality and providing excellent service. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
