We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic kitchen team. Duties

Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment. Support chefs and kitchen staff during service by ensuring that all necessary ingredients and tools are readily available. Help with the washing up of dishes, pots, and pans, ensuring they are cleaned to a high standard. Dispose of waste appropriately and assist with recycling efforts within the kitchen. Follow health and safety regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment. Assist with stock rotation and inventory management as required.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm for the culinary arts is key. Basic food preparation skills; any culinary experience will be advantageous. Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. A good understanding of hygiene standards and food safety regulations. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards serving others in a hospitality setting.
