We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our team at Amanzi in the heart of the culinary scene. This role is vital in supporting our kitchen operations and ensuring a clean and efficient workspace, contributing directly to our mission of delivering outstanding dining experiences.
Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area Assist with food preparation and cooking as directed by chefs Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained Support chefs during service by providing necessary ingredients and tools Manage waste disposal and recycling processes Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times Assist in inventory management of kitchen supplies.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a kitchen environment or similar role Strong understanding of food safety practices Ability to work efficiently under pressure Excellent teamwork and communication skills Flexibility to work varied shifts as needed Passion for food and hospitality.
