Duties

Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils promptly. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Support chefs during service by preparing ingredients and maintaining an organised workspace. Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations. Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed. Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is advantageous. Basic cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques are preferred. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting. Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively within a team. A passion for hospitality and providing excellent service to guests. Culinary experience is a plus, especially in high-volume settings such as hotels or restaurants.
