Duties

Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment promptly. Ensure that all kitchen areas are kept tidy and organised at all times. Help with the storage of food items, ensuring proper stock rotation and adherence to health and safety regulations. Assist in maintaining health and safety standards within the kitchen environment. Participate in cleaning schedules and deep cleaning tasks as required.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not essential. A passion for food and cooking, with a willingness to learn from experienced culinary professionals. Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Excellent teamwork skills, demonstrating a positive attitude towards colleagues and customers alike. Experience in hospitality or culinary settings is advantageous but not mandatory. Ability to follow instructions accurately and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
