We need a kitchen porter to join our team for peak days, this will be mostly Saturday and Sundays but occasional mid week shifts will also be available.
Shifts start at 9am and finish between 4/5pm each day.
Candidates should be driven and focused and be able to handle long periods of busy service. You will always be working as part of a team and should be able to communicate with the team across both of our kitchens.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
Washing Up
Cleaning dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen equipment.
Operating and maintaining the dishwasher.
Keeping the Kitchen Clean
Sweeping and mopping floors.
Wiping down surfaces and cleaning spills immediately.
Emptying bins and disposing of rubbish safely.
Basic Food Preparation
Prepping ingredients (e.g. peeling vegetables, portioning ingredients) under chef supervision.
Assisting with plating or garnishing, if required.
Maintaining Hygiene Standards
Following health and safety procedures.
Making sure the kitchen complies with hygiene regulations.
Wearing the correct uniform/PPE.
Stock Management Support
Unpacking deliveries and putting stock away.
Informing chefs or managers when stock is low.
Checking use-by dates and rotating stock (FIFO).
Supporting the Kitchen Team
Running errands or fetching ingredients as needed.
Assisting chefs during busy periods.
Taking on ad-hoc tasks to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly.
End-of-Shift Duties
Deep cleaning tasks (e.g., cleaning ovens, fridges).
Making sure everything is clean and ready for the next day.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 7 - 21 per week
