Duties

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Assist chefs with food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables and preparing ingredients. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Support the cooking team during service by providing timely assistance as required. Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Help with stock rotation and inventory management to ensure freshness of ingredients. Assist in maintaining high standards of hygiene throughout the kitchen.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills would be advantageous. Experience in hospitality settings is a plus, showcasing an understanding of service standards. A passion for culinary arts and a willingness to learn are essential traits for success in this role. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are highly valued.
