Overview
We are seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the smooth operation of our kitchen, ensuring cleanliness and organisation.
Duties
Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables as directed by the chefs. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to ensure hygiene standards are met. Ensure all dishes, pots, and pans are washed promptly and stored correctly. Help with stock rotation and inventory management to minimise waste. Adhere to health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment. Assist in receiving deliveries and storing supplies appropriately.
Requirements
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Experience in restaurants, hotels, or culinary settings will be considered a plus. Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Excellent teamwork skills. A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
Work Location: In person
