We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of our kitchen, ensuring cleanliness and organisation while supporting the culinary staff. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in a fast-paced Caffe.
Duties
Assist in food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables as needed.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment.
Support chefs and kitchen staff with various tasks during service periods, including serving dishes and restocking supplies.
Ensure that all waste is disposed of correctly and that recycling protocols are followed.
Assist with the cleaning of pots, pans, and other cooking equipment in a timely manner.
Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn.
Experience in hospitality or hotel environments will be considered a plus.
