Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
Support chefs and kitchen staff by ensuring all necessary utensils and ingredients are readily available.
Clean kitchen equipment and appliances as required.
Dispose of waste and maintain proper hygiene standards in accordance with health regulations.
Assist in the delivery of food items to service areas as needed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods.
Requirements
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
A passion for food and hospitality with a willingness to learn about culinary techniques.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
Experience in restaurants, hotels, or other hospitality settings is advantageous.
