Duties

Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans Support chefs during service by ensuring all necessary equipment and ingredients are readily available Help with the storage and rotation of food items to ensure freshness and compliance with health standards Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen Participate in cleaning tasks at the end of each shift to maintain a hygienic workspace

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not essential Basic cooking skills and an understanding of food preparation techniques are advantageous A passion for hospitality and a willingness to learn from experienced culinary professionals Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Excellent teamwork abilities and a positive attitude towards collaboration in a busy environment Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required
