We are looking for a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our team in ensuring cleanliness and organization in our kitchen setting. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting kitchen operations and assisting the kitchen staff as needed.
Duties:
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, dishes, utensils, and work areas
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks when required
- Dispose of trash and recycling following proper guidelines
- Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, reporting when restocking is necessary
- Aid kitchen staff in arranging storage areas and maintaining a neat workspace
Qualifications:
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Prior experience in a similar role is beneficial but not required
