Job Summary:
PLEASE NOTE: Position includes day shifts, evenings and weekend so must be available during 10am and 10pm. This is a full time role and not a part time role.
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our team at the Thomas Daniell. The ideal candidate will assist in the smooth running of the kitchen, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
Duties:
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks under the guidance of the kitchen team.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
- Support chefs and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed.
- Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations in the kitchen.
Training will be provided. Full time applicants are welcomed to come in and have a discussion with us to see our excellent team in action and see what you could be a part of.
Please be aware, this is a full time role, which will consists of daytimes, evenings and weekends. This is an essential requirement of the role.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 7.50-12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
Ability to commute/relocate:
Truro TR1 2JA: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
