Duties

Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs and kitchen staff. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. Ensure that all kitchen areas are kept tidy and hygienic at all times. Help with the storage of food items, ensuring proper stock rotation and labelling. Support chefs during busy periods by providing assistance with various tasks as needed. Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Assist with waste disposal and recycling efforts within the kitchen.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Basic understanding of food hygiene practices and health & safety regulations. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. A passion for culinary arts and an eagerness to develop skills within the hospitality industry. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
