Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our team in a three kitchen Hotel environment. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment ensuring all tasks are completed to the required Company standards.
Duties:
- Support the kitchen team with various tasks to ensure smooth food preparation and service.
- Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
- Assist in basic food preparation activities as directed by the chefs.
- Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately.
- Maintain a tidy and hygienic kitchen environment at all times.
Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar culinary or kitchen role is advantageous.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Strong teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks as required.
This is a part time position working 3 days per week / 22.5 hours per week
