Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation tasks, ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooking. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and utensils. Support chefs during service by ensuring that the kitchen is stocked with necessary supplies. Help with basic cooking tasks as required, under the guidance of senior kitchen staff. Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling procedures are followed. Clean kitchen equipment and surfaces to uphold health and safety standards. Assist in receiving deliveries and storing supplies appropriately.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, ideally within a restaurant or hotel setting. A passion for food preparation and cooking, with an eagerness to learn culinary skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Excellent teamwork abilities, contributing positively to a collaborative kitchen atmosphere. A commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the workplace. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
