We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations, supporting chefs and kitchen staff in food preparation and service. This position is perfect for individuals looking to gain experience in the culinary field within a vibrant pub environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment. Ensure all dishes and kitchenware are cleaned promptly and stored correctly. Help with stock rotation and inventory management to minimise waste. Follow all health and safety regulations within the kitchen at all times. Assist in the organisation of the kitchen to enhance workflow efficiency. Conduct kitchen deep clean.

Experience

Previous experience is preferred. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is advantageous. A background in hospitality or culinary arts will be beneficial for this role. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards learning new skills in the kitchen setting.
