Duties
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs, ensuring that ingredients are ready for cooking.
Keep kitchen equipment and utensils clean and in good working order.
Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling practices are followed.
Support the culinary team during busy service periods by helping with basic cooking tasks when required.
Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Assist in receiving deliveries and storing food items appropriately.
Skills
Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is advantageous but not essential.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
A keen interest in culinary arts and food preparation.
Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with chefs and other kitchen staff.
