We are currently seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our team. You will be responsible for food handling, elements of food prep and maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the kitchen.
Duties:
- Assist with food preparation and handling
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen items
- Assist the chef with various tasks as needed
Successful candidates will have:
- Prior experience in a restaurant or catering environment preferred
- Knowledge of basic food handling and safety procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
