About the Role



We're looking for

enthusiastic, skilled, and reliable kitchen porter

to join us for our grand opening.

As part of our back-of-house team, you'll play a key role in working as part of a team of professional chefs. You play a crucial role in keeping the kitchen clean. Experience is an advantage but not essential.

Your role in the kitchen is extremely important to the running of a business. Without; clean plates, cutlery, pots, pans and equipment. The kitchen will struggle to function efficiently.

Because we're a new opening, we are looking for individuals with a willingness to learn, passionate about great food, local ingredients, and who is enthusiastic about being apart of a close-knit opening team.

Responsibilities



Assist with food preparation, ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooking and serving. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Support chefs during service by preparing ingredients and assisting with cooking as needed. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Help manage inventory by restocking supplies and reporting any shortages to the kitchen manager. Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Assist with any other duties as required by the kitchen team. o Maintain a hygienic,clean and organised kitchen Before service roles include; deep-cleaning, stock and equipment organisation and maintenance, cleaning schedule checks, prep work, receiving and organising deliveries,liaising with the Head Chef. During service; maintaining and clean and hygienic kitchen throughout service, waste disposal, assisting and learning with the chefs. After service, ensure the kitchen is ready for the next day, floors and walls clean, plates and cutlery tidy and organised. We work as a team, no one is left behind. Each team member has health, hygiene and cleanliness responsibilities. Maintain a smooth and efficient demeanour throughout the shift. Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork with colleagues. Willingness to learn about cooking and the kitchen to enhance your own knowledge. Stay calm, organised, and professional during busy periods. Adapt to changing business levels with initiative and efficiency. Follow all relevant health, safety, and hygiene standards, as well as company policies.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 10.00-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
