Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our busy culinary team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our kitchen environment, ensuring smooth daily operations. Duties

Washing, peeling, and preparing ingredients as directed by the kitchen team Cleaning pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure hygiene standards are met Assisting with basic food preparation tasks under supervision Maintaining cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and storage areas throughout the shift Supporting the organisation of stock and supplies within the kitchen Assisting with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with health and safety regulations Ensuring all health and safety guidelines are followed during daily operations

Skills

Basic understanding of food preparation and kitchen hygiene practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Good organisational skills with attention to detail Willingness to learn new skills related to cooking and hospitality operations Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is advantageous but not essential Strong team player with excellent communication skills Enthusiastic attitude towards working in hospitality and supporting culinary staff

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week

Work Location: In person
