Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our team in a bustling restaurant. The Kitchen Porter will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and ensuring smooth operations within the kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Support kitchen staff during service by ensuring a constant supply of clean dishes and utensils
- Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is desirable but not essential
- Familiarity with culinary terms and practices is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality setting
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to help out where needed
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.21 per hour
