Duties

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and food preparation areas. Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables. Support chefs during service by ensuring all necessary utensils and ingredients are readily available. Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently to ensure a constant supply of clean dishes and kitchenware. Help with the storage of food supplies and ingredients, ensuring proper rotation and stock management. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, reporting any hazards or issues to senior staff. Assist with general kitchen duties as required, including cleaning floors, surfaces, and equipment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. A passion for food preparation and cooking is highly desirable. Experience in restaurants, hotels, or other hospitality settings is advantageous. Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards learning from others. A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the business.
