About us

A pretty little clapperboard pub on the outskirts of the historic yet happening town of Rye where the Military Canal meets the River Rother, The Globe Inn Marsh has been the talk of Rye since it opened in 2013, with its "sheep-shack chic" interiors and warm Ramblinns hospitality. We don't have rooms but we've lots of friends who do. Just ask and we'll make arrangements for you.

We are recruiting a Kitchen Porter-Part-Time

Do you seek a little more than just a JOB? To work with our local farmers, fishermen and growers, our brewers & wine makers, to cook & pour great food and drinks, to polish and make us sparkle! And of course most importantly, to work with and look after all of our lovely people!

Cleaning and sterilizing countertops, kitchen walls, stoves, ovens, grills and sinks Cleaning the entire kitchen once it is closed to ensure it is ready for the next day Maintaining the food storage areas like freezers and refrigerators Washing dirty dishes like cutlery, pots, cutting boards and pans or loading dishes into the dishwasher Removing kitchen waste from waste containers and disposing of them properly Cleaning and maintaining cooking equipment like cookers, pots and food mixers Supporting the Chef in basic food preparation like cutting ingredients, peeling and washing food items Providing assistance to Prep Cooks and other kitchen staff, as needed
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 10.00-12.40 per hour
