We're looking for a

hardworking and reliable Kitchen Porter

to join our kitchen team. The Kitchen Porter plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen by assisting with various tasks, including food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining hygiene standards. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in a culinary environment.

Responsibilities

:

Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the chefs Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment promptly and efficiently Support chefs during service by ensuring all necessary ingredients and tools are readily available Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations Help with stock rotation and storage of food items to ensure freshness Adhere to all health and safety guidelines within the kitchen environment

About You:

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately Excellent organisational skills to maintain a tidy work environment A passion for hospitality and willingness to learn Ability to work effectively as part of a team Previous kitchen experience is advantageous but not required
